Inspired by their love of Italian cooking and Cornish produce, husband and wife team Jon and Vicki Crwys-Williams have created a brand new pizza eatery in St Agnes on the stunning north coast of Cornwall.
In June 2012, they opened the Cornish Pizza Company at 68 Vicarage Road in the centre of the village in what was the old fishmongers.
The building has a colourful history and popular fixture in village life for over a hundred years. Originally a thatched cottage it was demolished and rebuilt in its present form around the outbreak of the First World War. Amongst its many reincarnations, it has also been a tobacconist, antiques shop, greengrocers, sports shop and confectionary (see left).
